Heavyweight Linen Daybed Cover with Piping
Our heavyweight linen daybed cover with piping is one of the most loved options among our customers. Many people choose to order a second cover right away — simply to have a backup when the first one is being washed or refreshed.
This zippered daybed mattress cover is designed to give your furniture a clean upholstered look while protecting the mattress from everyday use. Whether you need a standard size or a custom daybed cover, we can make a cover tailored to your exact measurements.
Designed to Match Your Interior
Choosing the right color and texture is essential when selecting a linen slipcover. That’s why we offer a wide palette of colors and linen weaves to suit different interior styles — from soft neutral tones to deeper, more expressive shades.
To help you make the best choice, you can order linen fabric swatches from our shop and compare them directly in your space. Seeing the fabric in natural lighting often makes it easier to find the perfect match for your furniture.
Fabric Construction and Seam Placement
Please note that covers wider than 59 inches (148 cm) will include a seam on the top and bottom panels. This happens because the maximum width of the linen fabric is 60 inches (150 cm).
The seam can be placed either:
- in the center of the cover
- closer to the zippered side
If you have a preference, simply leave a note with your order. For most linen daybed covers, customers prefer the seam positioned near the zipper edge so the top surface remains visually clean.
Premium Heavyweight Linen Upholstery Fabric
These fabrics are designed to create a durable linen slipcover that holds its shape and maintains crisp edges for years.
Heavyweight linen is especially popular when you want to:
- turn a daybed into a sofa-style seating area
- refresh an older couch with a custom sofa cover
- upgrade a porch swing cover
- create tailored seating with sectional covers
The structured weave gives furniture a polished look while maintaining the natural beauty of linen.
Comfortable in Every Season
Customers appreciate how well this daybed mattress cover performs throughout the year.
The linen blend fabric naturally adapts to temperature:
• breathable and cooling in summer
• warm and comfortable in winter
The tight weave and textured finish also make this linen daybed cover a beautiful accent piece for both modern and traditional interiors.
Why Choose Piping for Your Daybed Cover?
Piping is a decorative fabric cord sewn along the edges of the cover. This classic upholstery detail helps define the shape of cushions and creates clean outlines around the mattress.
Adding piping to your custom daybed cover gives the furniture a more tailored and sophisticated appearance.
Piping is especially recommended for:
- upcycled furniture projects
- frequently used seating areas
- statement furniture pieces
In addition to its aesthetic value, piping also reinforces the edges of the cover, adding extra durability.
Prefer a Softer, More Relaxed Look?
If you like the clean silhouette but prefer a slightly lighter drape, consider our medium weight linen daybed covers with piping. They offer the same elegant finishing detail while maintaining a softer, more relaxed linen feel.
